M

After the huge success of the UK premier of ‘Dog Sees God; Confessions Of A Teenage Blockhead’, Vertigo are bringing their 5th production to the stage with 'M' a modern day retelling of the stage play and classic Alfred Hitchcock film 'Dial M For Murder'

The classic thriller is re imagined for a whole new audience.
Greed, manipulation, blackmail, deception and murder run riot in the wealthy area of Manhattan where money rules and those without it will do anything to get it. 2 siblings lives are about to be changed forever when a robbery gone wrong turns out to be something far worse. The classic ‘howcatchem’ allows you to experience the twists and turns of the original whilst enjoying plenty of new surprises to keep your heart pounding through to its shocking new ending.
These young adults are ready to play a sinister game of trying to plan the perfect murder, but even the best laid plans are never perfect!

Written by Sian Johnson performed by Sian Hawthorn and Directed by Nola Dutton

Twice Removed

Sian Johnson's warm and funny play takes you on a mind boggling journey through game show studios, Florentine villas, busy restaurants and a day at the races!

Based on interviews with people from the LGBT community and their friends, Twice Removed presents an honest and often politically incorrect view of love, life and the community and delivers a hilarious and provocative insight into life on the margins.

Contains strong language, themes of a sexual nature and comes with an assurance that “no bisexuals were hurt during the making of this play”.

Part of Manchester’s 10 day Pride Festival. For more information about Twice Removed, log onto www.sianjohnson.co.uk

“My husband and I came to see the performance of Ugly Sister on Friday. How nice to see a venue where fringe theatre is flourishing in Manchester.

It was lovely to see Catia's interpretation of Ugly Sister and it was a most enjoyable performance and a most enjoyable evening. Please can we have some more?”
